US-400S ultrasonic sensor

Product Introduction

US-400S applies the principle of high-frequency ultrasonic straight-line transmission to detect the edge position of web materials. Compared with photoelectric sensors, it is not affected by material transparency, so no adjustment is required during use. It is suitable for edge-tracking applications on non-breathable materials such as plastic film and paper, while breathable materials such as fabric and nonwoven are not recommended.

US-400S quick answers

Which materials are suitable for US-400S?

Use US-400S for transparent or opaque non-breathable webs. Porous or breathable materials are not recommended; sample-test perforated, foamed or composite materials.

What are the US-400S detection range and precision?

The listed detection range is 6 mm, or ±3 mm around centre, with listed detection precision of ±0.05 mm. Maintain the edge within the documented sensing window.

Which electrical interface does US-400S use?

The page lists DC 12V power, one 0-5V analog output and two switch outputs. Confirm connector pinout, controller input and cable requirements before ordering.

Request a US-400S material and interface check

Send the material sample details, web width, line speed, normal edge movement, sensor mounting space, controller model and required output signal. KRD can help define the verification checklist.
